"account": "The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has garnered backing from fellow lawmakers for his re-election as presiding officer of the 11th National Assembly. Chief Whip Tahir Monguno and Senator Cyril Fasuyi declared that there is \"no vacancy\" in the position. Monguno, representing Borno North, expressed confidence that most incumbent senators would return and that Akpabio would continue as Senate President. Fasuyi, representing Ekiti North, also supported Akpabio's bid for a second term, stating that the Senate presidency was already filled. Upon hearing the declarations, Akpabio asked senators if the view reflected the chamber's general sentiment, and the response was clear. However, the declarations do not amount to a formal election for the next Senate's leadership, as the final decision will be made after the 2027 general elections.",
