"summary": "The Lagos State Government has trained 1,800 law enforcement officers from seven agencies, as part of efforts to strengthen professionalism and improve service delivery in the state. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu emphasized that effective law enforcement is critical to good governance and creating a safe environment for residents, businesses, investors, and visitors. The officers graduated from the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute (LETI) after completing a mandatory in-service training program, and Sanwo-Olu outlined five principles that the officers should adhere to: discipline and integrity, respect for the rule of law, professionalism and competence, respect for the public, and accountability and service. He urged the officers to respect the rights of residents, treat the public fairly, and make public cooperation dependent on their conduct.",
