"account": "Hubtel CEO Alex Bram has pledged his company's support for Ghana's proposed Artificial Intelligence (AI) Fund, as the government seeks private-sector involvement to fund the country's AI development program. Bram emphasized the importance of collaboration between government and businesses to establish the necessary infrastructure, develop skills, and create technological systems to position Ghana in the rapidly evolving AI economy. He stated that Hubtel would readily contribute both financially and through utilizing the services and solutions developed through the AI initiative. Ghana is pursuing a national AI strategy backed by a US$270 million commitment, with US$250 million allocated for the initial phase of a national AI compute center and US$20 million set aside for the AI fund. The fund aims to attract additional financing, including contributions from private institutions, to support Ghana's AI ambitions. Bram highlighted banks, insurance companies, pension funds, fintech firms, telecommunications companies, and mobile money operators as critical stakeholders in developing Ghana's AI ecosystem, noting that their participation would require an investment framework demonstrating clear value to businesses.",
