"account": "The First Niger Bridge connecting Anambra and Delta states has been adorned with pictures of President Bola Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima in preparation for its reopening. The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, is scheduled to officially reopen the bridge, located between Onitsha in Anambra State and Asaba in Delta State. Upon observing the bridge's completion, PUNCH Online noted that photographs of Tinubu and Shettima had been displayed along the structure, accompanied by captions emphasizing progress, prosperity, and hope. Additionally, All Progressives Congress campaign materials were observed at key points along the bridge. While some railings had been repainted and finishing touches were still being made, CCTV cameras, bolts, and expansion joints had been installed or repaired. During a prior inspection, Umahi directed that Tinubu's pictures be displayed, acknowledging the President's contributions to the South-East. The bridge had been closed for rehabilitation from September 7 to September 21 due to damaged structural components, and its reopening was initially delayed by rain and unforeseen issues. Security personnel were present, and roads leading to the bridge were partially barricaded to manage traffic during the dignitaries' arrival.",
