"account": "Reports have surfaced regarding iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max units exhibiting a change in color within a month of purchase. Specifically, the dark Burgundy finish is reportedly becoming lighter and more red. A Reddit user named Low-Ad9343 shared photos of an iPhone 18 Pro they bought on September 19, showing the device's aluminum surface had transformed from a deep Burgundy to a brighter red by October 9, approximately three weeks later. The cause of this color change remains unconfirmed, with some users suggesting a chemical reaction may be responsible. Upon taking the device to an Apple Store, the staff indicated they would consult an engineer and follow up by Monday, October 12. It is currently unclear if Apple addressed this as a warranty issue or provided a replacement. This is not the first appearance-related concern for the Burgundy iPhone 18 Pro, as some users have also reported dust accumulating around camera modules, particularly noticeable on Burgundy and Black models. Unlike previous issues, the color change appears to be permanent and cannot be wiped away through standard cleaning. Apple has not officially acknowledged a manufacturing problem with the iPhone 18 Pro's finish, and there is no verified explanation for the discoloration. The issue has not been tied to heat or UV exposure, though these factors have been speculated.",
