"account": "President Donald Trump has decided to cancel the livestream of the execution of former US army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan by firing squad, according to the latest update. Initial plans had included broadcasting the death online, but Trump's decision comes amidst mounting criticism over the public display. Vice-President JD Vance questioned whether the execution would take place and declared he would not watch it. Trump acknowledged that many people would prefer not to witness the execution, stating that streaming it could serve as a strong deterrent to the world on how America handles terrorists and individuals like Hasan. The sentence by Trump was that \"He will die, as scheduled, by firing squad, but this event will not be streamed.\" Nidal Hasan carried out a shooting that left 13 unarmed US soldiers dead and injured 32 others at a military base in Texas in 2009. This execution by firing squad would mark the first military execution in more than 60 years.",
