"account": "Two Singapore-listed palm oil firms, Bumitama Agri and First Resources, have been implicated in a Greenpeace investigation into plantation fires in Indonesia. The investigation used satellite data and corporate ownership analysis to link affected plantations to these companies. Another privately held firm, First Borneo Plantations, also implicated in the report. First Resources denied responsibility, stating that fire detection does not establish origin or responsibility without further investigation. Greenpeace identified plantation concessions operated by Kayung Agro Lestari, a subsidiary of Austindo Nusantara Jaya (acquired by First Resources in 2025), and Damai Agro Sejahtera, linked to Bumitama Agri. First Borneo Plantations, with Singapore ties, was also implicated in the report.",
