"account": "A political delegation, comprising Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Senator Edwin Sifuna, and Eugene Wamalwa, has journeyed to Bondo, Siaya County, to pay tribute to the late Prime Minister, Raila Odinga. The memorial service, held by the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK), saw a large gathering of Odinga's supporters who braved the heat to honor the ODM party leader, who has significantly influenced Kenyan politics over the years.\n\nOtiene Amollo, MP for Rarienda and a key speaker at the event, implored the enthusiastic crowd to remain peaceful, clarifying that this solemn occasion is not a political gathering. The mass, presided over by Canon Jonathan Kabiru, third Bishop of the ACK Diocese of Nairobi, highlighted Odinga's virtues and his commitment to peace. He urged politicians to set aside tribal politics and violence, emphasizing that anyone who harms Kenya's democratic space has no place in Odinga's legacy.\n\nCanon Kabiru stressed that Odinga's teachings on politics as a means of cooperation rather than enmity, selfless service, patriotism, and opposition to corruption, tribal politics, political thuggery, and bloodshed should be remembered. The Bishop praised Odinga as a courageous figure who never considered giving up, even in the face of adversity, and celebrated his life as a reminder of the importance of reconciliation, unity, and adherence to the rule of law. He concluded with a quote from Paul's 2 Timothy 4:7, urging attendees to mirror Odinga's life in their own, embodying patriotism, justice, and democracy.",
