"account": "According to JoyNews investigative correspondent Manasseh Azure Awuni, the headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School in the Ashanti Region, Zakaria Abdulai, is under investigation for alleged sexual abuse of female students. Awuni claims that Abdulai is also a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and is running for the constituency chairman position. During a discussion on Joy FM, Awuni revealed that Abdulai is the Juabeng Constituency Secretary of the NDC, with posters advertising his candidacy for the position. Awuni expressed concern over the widespread knowledge of the allegations within the community, including among NDC members, yet the lack of public discussion. He reported that some NDC members attempted to address the issue discreetly. Despite multiple individuals within the school and relevant government agencies being aware of the situation, no adequate action was taken. Awuni's investigation led to the headmaster being suspended by the Education Minister on October 13, pending a full investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service.",
