"account": "A BMW owner died on Thursday following a hijacking incident in Glenwood, Durban. The victim, who was shot multiple times, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital the following morning, according to ALS Paramedics. On Wednesday night, a suspect aimed to steal the BMW parked on Clark Road. Police, patrolling the area, observed the man firing shots at the vehicle. A police response led to a confrontation between the officers and the suspect. The suspect was apprehended and fled on foot into Ryde Avenue, hijacking a taxi that had just delivered a passenger. The suspect resumed his pursuit, firing at the hijacked vehicle as it headed towards Che Guevara Road. Additional police units were dispatched, and the suspect was eventually subdued. However, he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a nearby property, resulting in his death at the scene. No police officers sustained injuries during the attack.",
