"account": "Manchester United may be without Argentine defender Lisandro Martinez next summer as his future at the club hangs in the balance following a public outburst directed at the team's hierarchy. The 28-year-old, who has been a key player under manager Michael Carrick this season, dropped a bombshell interview on Tuesday following United's 2-0 Champions League defeat against Atletico Madrid.\n\nMartinez criticized the club's technical director, Jason Wilcox, for not supporting Carrick in the transfer market, causing dismay among his teammates who are reportedly angry and confused by his comments. While Martinez's contract at Old Trafford expires next year, with the club having an option to extend it by another year, doubts persist over whether United will exercise that option. Sky Sports reports that the Red Devils are currently focusing on revamping their defense in the upcoming transfer windows and are scouting for new centre-backs and left-backs.\n\nDespite being a crucial first-team player for United this season, with seven starts in all competitions, Martinez's association with the Manchester club is expected to come to an end in the summer after his scathing criticism of the club's leaders.",
