"account": "Lionel Messi secured Inter Miami's spot in the MLS playoffs with a 2-0 victory over New York City FC on Wednesday. The victory provided Cristian Kily Gonzalez his first back-to-back wins since taking over as head coach, securing Miami's position as the second-placed team with five games left to play. Inter Miami's coach, Cristian Kily Gonzalez, expressed satisfaction with the team's progress, acknowledging there is still room for improvement. Messi, who had scored twice during a previous match after returning from Argentina, once again influenced both first-half goals. In the 20th minute, Messi set up Rodrigo De Paul, who scored his first goal since May with a simple finish. De Paul added to Miami's lead in the first half with a counterattack goal. The second half remained goalless, but Messi had a shot stopped by the post in stoppage time. New York City FC, currently on a winless streak of 11 games, had a chance for a consolation penalty deep into the match, but goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair saved the day. Inter Miami's defense showed resilience, maintaining their second consecutive clean sheet after none in their previous ten matches.",
