"account": "Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox Nano controller, a diminutive gaming device designed to fit comfortably in a pocket. At just over five inches long and weighing 3.5 ounces, it is lighter and smaller than many smartphones. For instance, an iPhone 18 Pro measures 5.9 inches in length and weighs 7.4 ounces. In contrast, a standard Xbox One wireless controller is slightly longer at over six inches and heavier at 9.9 ounces without batteries. Despite its compact size, the Nano controller retains all 18 standard gameplay inputs, mirroring the layout of its larger counterpart. These inputs include the familiar buttons and triggers.\n\nThe controller includes a programmable Action Button, which users can customize for actions like taking screenshots and capturing gameplay. It features a rechargeable battery and can link to compatible devices through either Xbox Wireless or Bluetooth. According to Josh Goldman, CNET's managing editor for computers and gaming, the Xbox Nano controller offers a significant advantage over existing mini controllers as it supports official Xbox Wireless without the requirement for an additional adapter, and it also supports Bluetooth. This dual connectivity makes the Nano controller ideal for gaming on the go, whether at a friend's house or during travel. It can also be used with phones or tablets.\n\nThe Xbox Nano controller is priced at $50 and is now available for pre-order on the Xbox website. It will be accessible in several countries, including the US, Australia, Canada, and the UK, starting in November. Pricing and availability may differ by country. Microsoft is offering the Xbox Nano controller along with two months of its Game Pass Ultimate subscription with select Samsung TVs this holiday season. This bundle comes as part of the Gaming Hub available through the Samsung TV's interface. Additionally, a special holiday offer will include the Nano controller and two free months of Game Pass Ultimate for individuals who buy a Meta Quest headset.",
