"summary": "According to a MacRumors report, Apple's long-delayed HomeView was already undergoing regulatory testing in October 2024, with software version 18 already in use. The source of this information is an FCC document uncovered by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris. This revelation suggests that the delay in HomeView's launch was primarily due to the delayed rollout of Siri AI, which Apple previewed at WWDC 2024 but announced in March 2025 that it needed more time to perfect. Siri AI was finally released in September 2025.",
