"account": "Harare, Zimbabwe (AP) — Zimbabwean author Simbarashe Kundizeza, whose $10,000 Caine Prize for African Writing was under review over allegations of AI use, firmly denied using artificial intelligence to craft his story. He insisted that \"The Blue Fighter,\" which won this year's prize, was inspired by his own family's experiences and is a deeply personal piece reflecting economic hardship and familial relationships. Kundizeza challenged the notion that differences between his winning story and earlier works should call into question his authorship, pointing out that writers naturally evolve and adapt their styles over time.",
