"summary": "The Kebbi State Police Command has secured the conviction of 19 people for terrorism, the illegal possession of firearms, and the vandalism of critical national infrastructure. According to Daily Post Nigeria, the convictions followed a 17-month investigation and prosecution process and were delivered by Justice Emmanuel Gakko of the Federal High Court, Birnin Kebbi Judicial Division.\n\nDaily Post Nigeria reports that the convictions resulted from intelligence-led operations conducted in security flashpoints including Sakaba, Bagudo, and Yauri. Among the convicts, Aliyu Hadari and Umar Musa Uzzi were found guilty of conspiracy to commit terrorism and providing logistics to an armed terrorist group. The police stated these two individuals were intercepted on Yauri Road in a vehicle allegedly used to transport kidnap victims to a forest hideout.\n\nThe court sentenced Hadari and Uzzi to 15 years of imprisonment on each count and ordered the forfeiture of a Bajaj motorcycle and the vehicle to the Federal Government.
