"summary": "Irish novelist Sally Rooney’s books will no longer be sold in Britain in any format, according to the Jerusalem Post. This decision follows Rooney's plans to use her royalties to support Palestine Action, a pro-Palestinian group that was banned as a terrorist organization by the British government under terrorism laws last year.\n\nRooney's publisher, Faber, stated on Wednesday that it had agreed with the author that it can no longer supply her works in the UK, though the publisher will continue to sell them elsewhere. Faber noted that current UK legislation prevents the publisher from passing on UK earnings to Rooney, describing the inability to transfer these earnings as an unconscionable situation.\n\nThe Jerusalem Post reports that Rooney had previously indicated in a witness statement for a legal challenge regarding the ban on Palestine Action that her plans might lead to her books being withdrawn from sale in Britain. The Hollywood Reporter notes that Rooney stated she has made every effort to be honest with the public about her intentions and is prepared to accept the consequences.",
