"account": "The WNBA's All-Rookie Team for the 2026 season has drawn criticism from some fans for an apparent snub involving Awa Fam, a highly touted young talent. Fam, who was the third overall pick in the draft, was notably absent from the final roster despite a strong performance throughout the year. The All-Rookie Team comprised five members, including Olivia Miles, who was unanimously selected as Rookie of the Year and placed second in the WNBA MVP voting. Flau Jae Johnson, Fam's teammate with the Seattle Storm, was also selected, finishing second in rookie scoring behind Miles. Pauline Astier of the New York Liberty and Kiki Rice of the Miami Air Academy were included due to their contributions to their respective teams. However, Fam's absence was surprising given her impressive statistics. She played more minutes than her teammates, led all rookies in total rebounds and rebounds per game, and placed third in blocks. Fam also outscored both Pauline Astier and Kiki Rice and shot better from the floor than Taylor and Johnson. The decision to exclude Fam, who may possess the highest potential among the rookies aside from Miles, appeared to be an inexplicable oversight.",
