"account": "Last week, Geordie Greep, a solo artist and former Black Midi member, embarked on a tour in Vancouver. During the show, a man handed out flyers accusing Greep of rape, claiming, \"You know what you did this morning Oct 8th.\" Later that night, Greep arrived late to his performance with no backing band and issued a statement addressing the allegations before taking the stage solo. Subsequently, Greep canceled the remainder of his US tour dates without further comment. His alleged victim, going by the pseudonym Laura, has now spoken out regarding Greep's actions, as has touring keyboardist Cameron Campbell, who claims he left the tour immediately. At the Vancouver show, Greep recounted the previous night's events, stating that he and his bandmates had been drinking and that he \"made a move\" which was misconstrued. Greep insisted he is not a rapist. However, Laura asserts that she was sexually assaulted after passing out drunk and waking up to Greep kissing her without consent. She alleges that a male acquaintance distributed flyers labeling Greep as a rapist without her consent. Laura and Campbell recount the group's discomfort with Greep's words, including inappropriate comments about homeless people and offensive remarks about race or gender. Laura claims she passed out around 5 a.m. and woke up to Greep attempting to kiss her. Her friends and Campbell kicked Greep out of their apartment, but Greep persisted in trying to return, claiming he was searching for his phone. Campbell says he immediately decided to quit Greep's band and informed the tour manager about his decision. The tour manager then confronted Greep about his behavior, which Campbell says was unacceptable.",
