"summary": "A judge in Michigan has ruled that two Wolverine football players, Alex Bauman and Jeremiah Earby, are eligible to play this season. The decision was made by Judge Julia B. Owdziej, who stated that preventing the players from being eligible would be \"irreparable and severe,\" while the harm to the NCAA would be \"negligible.\" Bauman, a former Miami tight end, and Earby, a former Boise State defensive back, are both enrolled at Michigan and hope to join the team for their fifth season. The ruling is part of a broader challenge to the NCAA's new eligibility rule, which has been contested in multiple courtrooms across the country. The NCAA's president, Charlie Baker, has criticized Ohio Governor Mike DeWine for attempting to legislate NCAA eligibility rules, emphasizing the need for Congress to pass the Protect College Sports Act.",
