"account": "Irish novelist Sally Rooney has been barred from selling her books in the United Kingdom due to her support for Palestine Action, which was recently labeled as a terrorist organization in the UK. In July 2025, Palestine Action was proscribed, and Rooney expressed her intention to continue supporting the group in an opinion piece. This led to potential criminal charges for Faber, Rooney's publisher, if they continued supplying her work in the UK. After consultation and with Rooney's agreement, Faber decided to cease publishing her work in the country. Rooney stated that she has been transparent about her beliefs and is prepared to accept the consequences. Despite the setback, Rooney's moral clarity and outspoken stance on Palestine have earned her respect.",
"summary": "The Irish novelist known for nailing Millennial relationship psychosis and speaking up about Palestine told The Guardian this morning that she can no longer sell her novels in the United Kingdom. This news follows Rooney’s much-publicized support for Palestine Action,",
