"account": "The list of candidates for the upcoming Melaka election under Pakatan Harapan (PH) is over 95 percent finalized, according to Fahmi Fadzil, the communications director for PH and also the communications minister. Fahmi, who spoke on the Bernama TV show Ruang Bicara, stated that the coalition will unveil its candidates on October 24, with the location still to be determined.\n\nAccording to Fahmi, discussions on the candidate list have progressed between 90 to 95 percent among the component parties. The talks started at the level of the individual parties, and if a party representing a specific seat decides to consult with other parties, they are free to do so. However, the ultimate decision will be made by the Pakatan Harapan Presidential Council.\n\nThe announcement, originally planned for today, was moved to October 24 at the request of the Melaka PH leadership. Fahmi refuted rumors suggesting that the postponement was due to challenges in acquiring an event permit from local authorities or issues with the venue itself. He clarified that the date change was requested by several leaders, including those from PH in Melaka, and that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who also serves as PH's chairman, is expected to participate in the announcement on October 24.",
