"account": "Almost ten months after Jason Wilcox was targeted in a post-match press conference by Ruben Amorim at Leeds, United are once again facing criticism regarding the technical director's role. This time, it is Lisandro Martinez who is the target, following a 2-0 loss to Atletico Madrid. Martinez expressed frustration that the technical director does not meet his expectations and called for more ambition in the club's recruitment strategy. The defender emphasized that if the team does not speak the truth about its issues, no change will occur. However, United fans are pleased with Martinez's outspoken stance, as it highlights the club's leadership inadequacies. The dilemma for Martinez is whether his comments will lead to a contract extension or, potentially, a lower fee departure, as his contract ends at the end of the season. United manager Erik ten Hag appears to support Martinez, given his ability to handle crisis situations. However, the club's current form, with five matches without a win, is a concern. Jason Wilcox, the club's director of football, is not in any danger of losing his job due to the team's recognition of the flaws in the recruitment strategy. Nevertheless, he acknowledges the need for more ambition and involvement in the decision-making process.",
