"account": "Odisha Governor Braj Mohan Ram has sparked controversy by stating his intention to garner more votes for the BJP following his recent appointment. The opposition parties, Biju Janata Dal and Congress, have expressed concerns regarding his impartiality. Ram, a Dalit leader and former BJP MP from Jharkhand, was appointed as Odisha's Governor on Monday. He mentioned plans to activate the BJP's Scheduled Caste morcha and secure more votes for the party. The BJP currently holds power in the state. Ram acknowledged the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in appointing him. He also highlighted his past role in strengthening the BJP's SC morcha in Jharkhand. With nearly 17% of Odisha's population belonging to the Scheduled Caste category, the Governor's remarks have drawn criticism. Rajya Sabha member Santrupt Misra questioned the Governor's priorities, suggesting a clear inclination towards party interests. Meanwhile, AICC media and publicity wing chairman Pawan Khera accused Ram of prioritizing the party over the people, the constitution, and the country, calling him a traitor. Ram, a graduate of Ranchi University, previously served as an MLA in Bihar and an MP in Jharkhand. He has succeeded Hari Babu Kambhampati as Odisha's Governor.",
