"account": "Greece's conservative government sought to distance itself from the sudden dismissal of US Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle, emphasizing that the controversy is a US issue and should not impact Greek-American relations. Deputy Prime Minister Costis Hatzidakis told state TV ERT that there have been instances where countries, including Greece, have not had a US ambassador for months. This follows allegations that Guilfoyle sought financial assistance from Donald Trump supporter Eric Deters and accepted lavish hospitality from wealthy Greek businessmen, as reported by The Wall Street Journal. Trump ousted Guilfoyle from the administration on Tuesday, citing these alleged misconducts. Guilfoyle, who is also ex-fiancee of Trump's eldest son, has denied the allegations and defended her work as ambassador, emphasizing her efforts to enhance US energy exports and security ties with Greece.",
