Every year, Iqbal Day commemorates the birth anniversary of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the renowned poet and thinker who played a pivotal role in the creation of Pakistan. In 2023, November 9 coincides with a Monday, accompanied by two weekend days off, which are expected to result in government employees receiving three straight days off.\n\nSimilarly, educational institutions will observe a three-day break from November 7 to 9, providing students with a short respite.
