"account": "Manchester United are considering imposing a fine on defender Lisandro Martínez for his public criticism of the club's management following their 2-0 Champions League loss to Atlético Madrid. The Argentina international expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of signings during the summer transfer window and directed his remarks at technical director Jason Wilcox. \"We did a fantastic season last season and now we expect more from the top, more players to compete because many teams bring many players as well,\" Martínez stated. \"I expect more [investment]. 100%. I expect more from our technical director. Tonight it is easy to blame the coach, easy to say the players, but also we have to see other areas. You can’t keep changing, changing, changing the manager. What about other areas?\" He reiterated his stance in a subsequent interview, asserting that he would not hold back and stressing the need for greater ambition at the club. According to reports from The Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell, the club views a fine as \"inevitable\" and acknowledges that Martínez is not the only player with concerns about United's summer recruitment and overall direction.",
