"account": "Arsalan Chaudhary, who was sentenced to four years in prison for his role in the Toronto Pearson airport gold heist, is set to continue his testimony on Wednesday during the trial of Parmpal Sidhu. Chaudhary, who pleaded guilty to theft over $5,000, was ordered to pay back $22 million in restitution. He testified that he and another individual planned the heist, with Chaudhary ultimately taking 30 per cent of the gold bars. Prosecutors claim that Sidhu, a former Air Canada employee, provided a falsified waybill that allowed another person to take over $22 million in gold and currency from the Pearson airport cargo bay on April 17, 2023. The heist involved 6,600 gold bars weighing over 400 kilograms, which were stolen from the airport.",
