"account": "Koffee With Karan Season 9 is set to debut on October 14, marking a significant milestone for the show as it celebrates its 22-year run. In a historic move, streaming platform JioHotstar, owned by Reliance, has partnered with NBCUniversal's Peacock Hub to support a domestically produced Indian original program. This marks the first time The Peacock Hub has championed a locally created Indian show, signaling a shift in the platform's focus from global content acquisition to nurturing homegrown Indian IP. Both JioHotstar and NBCUniversal launched The Peacock Hub in India back in 2023, expanding its content library with a range of shows including All Her Fault, PONIES, The Copenhagen Test, and The Five Star Weekend. Speaking about the collaboration, Alok Jain, Head - Hindi & English Entertainment Business (Streaming, TV & Studios), JioStar, expressed his belief that Indian IP, when given the right ambition, can successfully compete on a global stage. Similarly, Chris Taylor, Managing Director, APAC, NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution and International Networks & DTC, noted that the show's partnership with The Peacock Hub elevates the program to a broader international platform. Season 9 of Koffee With Karan, hosted by Bollywood icon Karan Johar, will air on The Peacock Hub through JioHotstar, concluding the beloved show's long-standing journey.",
