"account": "Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, has pledged to address the rising cost of living and insecurity in Nigeria if elected. In a post on his official X account, Atiku urged registered voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the next general election, emphasizing that the PVCs are tools for demanding change through peaceful democratic participation. The former Vice President acknowledged the economic hardships faced by Nigerians across all age groups, including parents struggling to feed their children and pensioners forced to make tough choices between food and medication. Atiku also expressed concern over the financial difficulties faced by young Nigerians, who struggle to meet basic needs despite their earnings. He lamented the persistent threat of kidnapping and attacks across the country, warning that families live in fear for the safety of their loved ones. Atiku called on Nigerians not to endure hunger and insecurity simultaneously, warning that these hardships should not become the future inherited by younger generations. He urged eligible voters to participate in the electoral process and collect their PVCs, describing them as instruments for demanding change through peaceful democratic participation. Atiku, who has run for president in previous elections, blamed President Bola Tinubu's administration for the high cost of living and pledged to reverse the trend.",
