"account": "ESPN executive vice president Mike Foss defended Pat McAfee's role on the network, describing him as a \"journalist at heart\" in a recent interview with Front Office Sports. Foss praised McAfee's Rolodex and the access it provides him, noting that this allows him to gather information quickly, both on and off the show. He also highlighted McAfee's versatility, describing him as a producer, interviewer, and actor, adding that he finds it fascinating to see how others perceive him. When asked about critics who complain about McAfee's presence, Foss simply said, \"Absolutely nothing,\" and affirmed that McAfee could insert himself into various aspects of programming if he chose to. Many fans have expressed fatigue regarding McAfee's overwhelming presence on ESPN, but Foss believes the critics won't get any respite from the former NFL punter, stating that \"Pat can do whatever he wants.\"",
