"summary": "Kenyan marathon runner Ronald Kipkoech Korir has been provisionally suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) for using a prohibited substance. Korir, 35, finished fourth in the 2023 Berlin Marathon and placed fourth in the 2024 Hamburg Marathon. The AIU has suspended over 140 Kenyan athletes since 2017, including current women's marathon world record holder Ruth Chepngetich. The decision to award Nairobi the 2029 world championships may increase scrutiny of Kenya's anti-doping policies.",
