"account": "A shooting at a memorial service in Ekurhuleni on Tuesday left two members of the ANC Youth League dead and three others injured. The gunman, after firing shots in the air, turned his rifle on the crowd of mourners in Katlehong. Two victims, aged 21 and 23, lost their lives, while the other three were rushed to the hospital. Police spokesperson Brigadier Brenda Muridili stated that the injured ranged in age from 12 to 27. After the incident, the suspect surrendered to the police and is currently in custody. The shooting occurred after a memorial service for Jeanette Magugu, a 51-year-old leader within the ANC and its youth league, who was shot dead at Mandela Informal Settlement earlier in October. The memorial service took place at Mogobeng Hall at a primary school in Tshongweni, Katlehong. A witness recounted how mourners had left the hall and were marching in tribute to Magugu when they encountered the alleged shooter.",
