"account": "On Tuesday night, the Colorado Avalanche secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Dallas Stars, thanks to a pair of goals from Martin Necas. The Avalanche took on a short-handed team, down to 11 forwards and six defensemen due to injuries and penalties. Necas scored first in the second period on a 5-on-3 power play and then doubled the lead with four seconds left in the period. Artturi Lehkonen also found the back of the net for the Avalanche. The Stars managed to score once, with Nathan MacKinnon providing two assists. The game marked the opener of a home-and-home series between the teams, with both sides boasting impressive statistics heading into the matchup. Colorado led the NHL in goals per game, while Dallas had the best goals-against average in the league. Necas' goal was particularly significant, as it came during a crucial moment in the game when the Avalanche were down to just ten skaters. Despite facing adversity, the Avalanche emerged victorious, setting the stage for an upcoming rematch in Denver.",
