"account": "The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and the African Union Counter-Terrorism Centre have sounded the alarm about terrorist groups exploiting social media, cryptocurrencies, and advanced technologies to carry out attacks across West Africa and the Sahel. At a three-day training conference in Abuja, Ribadu highlighted the growing use of artificial intelligence, drones, and virtual assets to spread propaganda, recruit members, move funds, and coordinate operations. He emphasized the need to enhance technical expertise, strengthen institutions, and improve cooperation among security agencies to anticipate, detect, analyze, and disrupt emerging threats before they materialize. The response requires more than just acquiring advanced equipment; it demands developing the necessary skills and strengthening collaboration among security agencies.",
