"account": "Quebec's incoming and outgoing leaders met on Tuesday to begin the transition of power as the Parti Québécois prepares to take office. Christine Fréchette, the outgoing premier, and Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, the premier-designate, discussed key issues such as the economy, employment, relations with the US and hydroelectric agreements. St-Pierre Plamondon expressed satisfaction with the meeting and praised Fréchette's team for their cooperation. Fréchette emphasized the importance of a smooth transition, stating it would be coordinated and proper. The PQ won 59 seats in the recent election, while the Quebec Liberals secured 40, the Conservatives 19, and Québec solidaire took nine. St-Pierre Plamondon, who is set to lead a minority government, signaled a different approach and highlighted homelessness, the cost of living, and government spending as his priorities. The PQ will need support from other parties to pass legislation, and could turn to opposition parties for assistance depending on the issue. The incoming government will also face challenges due to their inexperience, with more than 50 new PQ MNAs and limited representation in major cities.",
