"account": "The Detroit Red Wings are reportedly nearing an agreement to extend Alex DeBrincat's contract, according to reports. Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman shared on social media that the team and DeBrincat are \"closing in on a deal\" worth approximately $13 million per season over seven years. DeBrincat, a 28-year-old from Farmington Hills, is currently in the final year of his deal. As a 40-goal scorer, he is expected to become the highest-paid player on the Red Wings, outpacing previous club leader Dylan Larkin, who averaged $8.7 million annually. Despite the team's recent 5-4 overtime loss to the New Jersey Devils, this potential extension brings significant off-ice positive news.",
