"summary": "Two Taiwanese executives have been arrested for allegedly using mainland Chinese-made components in military drones, marking the second such investigation in two months. The case has intensified scrutiny of the government's efforts to build a \"drone team\" based on a \"non-red\" supply chain, excluding components and technology from mainland China. Jiin Ming Industry and its subsidiary were suspected of installing mainland-made chips and camera lenses in the drones, submitting false certificates of origin during inspections. The arrested individuals are Jiin Ming vice-chairman Chien Hao-ting and business manager Chen Yang-cheng, who were detained for two months on suspicion of violating the National Security Act and committing document forgery and aggravated fraud. The controversy follows a similar case in August involving Hang Jian Technology, which was accused of using mainland Chinese-packaged chips and flight-control boards in drones supplied to the island's Eighth Army Corps.",
