"account": "Matthew Farwell, a former police officer, is accused of murdering Sandra Birchmore. Testimony in his trial has put focus on his personal life. Prosecutors allege that Farwell strangled Birchmore after learning she was pregnant and he was the father. He is also accused of staging the scene to make it look like a suicide. Farwell reportedly began raping Birchmore one month before his wedding, and the murder occurred hours before his wife gave birth to their third child. His wife's name is identified as Angela by The People, while Boston Herald reports it as Michelle. Social media posts and older reports identify her as Michelle. If confirmed, Farwell and Michelle have been married for 13 years, with no record of their separation. During a detention hearing, Farwell's lawyer highlighted his ties to Massachusetts, including his wife and three children who live on the South Shore. Michelle is not listed in either the prosecution's or defense's witness list, and Farwell's defense team states that after Birchmore's passing, they continued to raise their three young children together.",
