"account": "Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez criticized the club's board for a perceived lack of investment this summer, following the team's 2-0 defeat against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. United is currently winless in five games across all competitions after a poor start to the Premier League season, which is their worst in 40 years. Martinez expressed disappointment, stating, \"Really poor,\" after the match, and attributing it to a reflection of the club's current state. He expected more investment in the squad after finishing third in the Premier League last season, but was let down by the club's failure to reinforce other positions. Martinez suggested that merely changing the manager was not the solution and urged the board to focus on other areas. Red Devils minority owner Jim Ratcliffe attended the match, while coach Michael Carrick declined to comment on Martinez's remarks. Former Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney dismissed Martinez's criticism as excessive, suggesting that it should have remained internal and that Martinez might be out the door if the situation worsens.",
