"account": "The House of Representatives Committee on Host Communities has recommended extending Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited's surveillance contract, dismissing a petition alleging financial misconduct and improper contract implementation. The subcommittee found no evidence to support these allegations against PINL and its Managing Director, Dr Osahon Okunbor. The committee also expressed confidence in President Bola Tinubu, NNPC Limited, and the pipeline surveillance contractors. PINL's operations have reportedly increased crude oil delivery to the Bonny Terminal from 3% in May 2022 to 98% in September 2026. The company has also remediated illegal connections and destroyed illegal refinery clusters. The extension recommendation comes as Nigeria continues efforts to secure petroleum infrastructure and increase production.",
