"account": "Recently, President Donald Trump ordered Kimberly Guilfoyle to resign as U.S. ambassador to Greece, according to White House press secretary Katie Zacharia. Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host, had been under increased scrutiny due to allegations of improper behavior while in Greece and requesting financial assistance from a Trump donor in exchange for access to the administration. Despite Trump's previous praise for her work, he expressed his disapproval of the allegations. Guilfoyle, who had been nominated as ambassador to Athens in December 2024, vehemently denied the accusations and vowed to defend her name and reputation. The controversy escalated as audio recordings surfaced, allegedly featuring Guilfoyle boasting about her connections to influential Greek business figures and even suggesting the possibility of toppling the Greek government. Her relationship with Trump's son, Donald Jr., also came under scrutiny. Zacharia, during her brief press briefing, acknowledged Guilfoyle's contributions but stated that the administration had no choice but to ask her to resign. Deters, one of the alleged recipients of the financial assistance, denied the claims and threatened legal action against Guilfoyle.",
