"summary": "The Oyo State Government has refuted claims made by the APC regarding the presence of diphtheria in the state. According to Punch, the government stated there are currently no confirmed cases of the disease in Oyo, characterizing the claims as misinformation.\n\nIn a separate development, the All Progressives Congress has revised its Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general election. The updated list includes several prominent figures from different political affiliations, such as FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke. Under this arrangement, Wike will serve as campaign coordinator for Rivers State and the FCT, while Adeleke and Soludo will act as coordinators for Osun and Anambra states.\n\nDaily Post Nigeria reports that the inclusion of these figures has drawn mixed reactions. While an APGA chieftain in Ebonyi State viewed the move as a strategic step to expand President Bola Tinubu’s support base, some APC stakeholders in Ebonyi expressed concerns that appointing opposition figures to leadership roles could undermine longtime party loyalists.",
