"account": "Taylor Rooks, the host of Amazon Prime Video's NBA on Prime, maintains close friendships with the athletes she covers. She recently attended the weddings of NBA stars Tyrese Haliburton and Donovan Mitchell in quick succession. Kevin Durant is also a close friend of Rooks, having attended her wedding the previous year and being an equity partner in her company, Boardroom. Rooks believes these friendships do not compromise her professional work; in fact, they can facilitate difficult conversations. During Mitchell's wedding, Rooks discussed with the Cavaliers star why his team had not achieved more success, a conversation she believes makes it easier to ask tough questions during televised interviews. Rooks emphasizes the importance of trust in these relationships and does not worry about betraying a close friend who is also an athlete she covers. She met Durant when she was a sophomore in college covering the All-Star Game, and he encouraged her to ask him questions. Despite the scrutiny female reporters face, Rooks remains unfazed by online criticism, stating that she knows what is true about her life and career.",
