"summary": "Doncaster Rovers have signed 33-year-old forward Will Keane on a short-term deal until January, pending FA and EFL approval. The Republic of Ireland international, who scored twice in 14 League One appearances for Reading last season, joins the club after being granted special dispensation to replace Frankie Okoronkwo on the squad list. Okoronkwo is expected to be sidelined due to injury until the new year. Keane, who began his career at Manchester United and spent the second half of last season on loan at Reading, helped Wigan Athletic win the League One title in 2022 and earned the division's golden boot. Doncaster Rovers boss Grant McCann expressed excitement about Keane's arrival, praising his goal-scoring ability and experience at this level.",
