"account": "Desert Ridge football team is experiencing turmoil after their starting quarterback, Gunner Brewer, was dismissed from the team and 12 of his teammates were suspended for supporting him during a meeting. The suspension came after Brewer allegedly changed a play on his own during a game, which coach Miles Smith deemed disrespectful. The suspension impacts the team's upcoming match against Corona del Sol on Oct. 15. The 12 suspended players, including five seniors, walked out of a team meeting on Oct. 12 after learning of the quarterback's dismissal. Desert Ridge coach Miles Smith and athletic director Kevin Swann have not responded to requests for comment. The school district's athletic director, Stephen McDowell, has also not returned messages. Parents are concerned about the lack of communication and progressive discipline in the situation.",
