"account": "Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones defended the recent trade for Micah Parsons ahead of the team's Sunday Night Football game against their former quarterback. Parsons, a first-rate defensive player, underwent ACL and meniscus surgery during the 2025 season and is still on the road to recovery. The Cowboys parted ways with Parsons before the 2025 season, acquiring three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two first-round draft picks (2026, 2027) in return. Jones insisted that they never underestimated Parsons' abilities and were confident in their strategy for utilizing the drafted players. Despite the team's current position with a 2-3 record and a defense that ranks near the bottom in total yards allowed per game, Jones remains optimistic about their prospects. The Cowboys are set to host the Green Bay Packers in a prime-time matchup on Sunday, with the game scheduled to begin at 8:20 p.m. ET.",
