"account": "TTArtisan has introduced a groundbreaking new lens, the AF 24mm F3.8 mini, boasting unprecedented compactness. This lens is a record-breaker, being the smallest wide-angle lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras, outperforming its predecessor, the Viltrox AF 28mm F4.5 FE, by just 3 grams. Weighing a mere 57 grams, the AF 24mm F3.8 mini measures just 16mm in width and 60mm in diameter. Currently, it is only compatible with Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, offering a 36mm equivalent focal length on APS-C sensors. The lens delivers a 84° angle of view and has a close focusing distance of 0.3m. With a fixed f/3.8 aperture, the AF 24mm F3.8 mini features nine blades, which are non-adjustable, a trade-off for its diminutive size. Its internal structure comprises six elements arranged in six groups, incorporating two aspherical and two extra-low dispersion elements, and an autofocus system driven by a Voice Coil motor. While manual focus is not an option, the lens supports Sony’s Eye and Face-detection autofocus modes. However, it lacks compatibility with screw-on front filters and even requires its own lever-operated cover. The TTArtisan AF 24mm F3.8 mini is available in Sony E-mount only, with a pricing of $99 (£75), and a Nikon Z-mount version is said to be forthcoming. This tiny lens, with its versatile 24mm wide-angle focal length, promises to be a flexible tool for a wide array of photography scenarios, from street photography to landscapes, architecture, and travel.",
