"account": "NFLX ANNOUNCES SPAIN RIGHTS FOR 2030 WORLD CUP (Reuters)\n\nSpanish entertainment giant Netflix has secured the rights to broadcast every match of the 2030 World Cup live to audiences in Spain and Andorra, the company announced on Tuesday. As the tournament's reigning champions, Spain will co-host the event with Portugal and Morocco, while Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay will also host matches to celebrate the centenary of the competition.\n\nUnder the agreement, one game per match-day will be available for free viewing in Spain, according to Netflix. Additionally, a national free-to-air television channel will air all of Spain's matches and the final, among other games. This deal marks a significant step in Netflix's strategy to compete with traditional broadcasters by offering live sporting events, making it the first time the platform will be able to showcase the men's World Cup. Netflix currently holds the rights to broadcast the women's World Cup editions in the United States and Canada for the 2027 and 2031 tournaments.",
