"account": "Apple has unveiled a new lineup of smart home devices, entering the competitive market alongside Amazon Ring and Google Nest. The company's Apple Home Collection features a smart deadbolt lock, video doorbell, thermostat, temperature sensor, and security cameras. These devices are designed to integrate with HomeView, Apple's new smart home hub for controlling and interacting with connected accessories using the company's software.\n\nThe $349.95 smart lock incorporates ultra-wideband (UWB) technology for precise proximity detection, enabling automatic unlocking upon the approach of an authorized user. The $249.95 wired video doorbell allows homeowners to monitor visitors and receive notifications on their Apple devices when someone is at their door. The temperature sensor provides insights into individual room temperatures, helping users optimize heating and cooling settings. Additionally, Apple is introducing indoor and outdoor cameras, along with a floodlight camera ($399.95) that integrates exterior lighting with video monitoring. The camera lineup offers features such as live viewing, motion detection, intelligent alerts, and video storage. These new products are set to launch in December, with Apple collaborating with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric to bring the smart home accessories to market.",
